I did feed again tonight, was able to coax out a few more heads.
Typically before I buy anything I research the crap out of it. I even go so far as downloading the manual and read it cover to cover before I buy. I did this with my first orange sun coral. I brought it back from death. It was a LFS rescue. So with that success, I figured I would try a black sun coral. I figured pretty much the same care. Well after a lot more research, I find that the black sun corals are more demanding for both flow and food. So for the time being, this one will get fed daily until I see the tissue starting to regrow, then I'll cut back to feeding every 2-3 days.
