branching montipora help

I've had my pink branching monti(montipora digitata) for a little over 2 months now and its grown significantly sprouting so many new branches its almost doubled in size. its gotten a very deep pinkish purple color since I've gotten it and has great polyp extension. at times the polyps are so extended it looks like a fuzzball!! the only problem I'm worried about is at the very tips of the new branches the skeletal area is a white or very pale blue color. I don't know if this is normal from the new growth or if this is a bad thing. any help is appreciated. thanks

a picture would help but sure sounds like new growth to me. From your description, sounds like it is doing well for you.

thanks guys. I actually recently upgraded my light fixture and am running all new bulbs as of last Monday and I've noticed the polyps which have previously been a bluish color have in the last week under the new lights gotten a bluish green hue to them. my bulbs are geisman 15k blue plus...geisman actinic plus...geisman coral pink plus...and true lumen actinic 460nm. is the polyp coloration change related to the new bulbs or is it something i should be worried about. it is still very healthy and continues to grow and retain a deep pink/purple skeletal color

Suspect the tips are just new growth and a healthy sign as above. Be careful when changing to new bulbs (they will have a higher par when brand new): I usually cut back the light interval to ~ 80% and slowly ramp back up to the normal duration weekly over the next month.
