WOW... I just read the Bean thread and concluded that I am totally not smart enough for this hobby. I am able to understand the concept, but in no way am I able to create this crazy smart system.

With that being said I will be taking bids on this crazy job and also seeking a great deal on a refugium to run this all in to... This project is about 2-3 months out, so please bid accordingly.

hogwash ,,,, you can do it !!!! trust me Shawn those pipes are not that hard , and if your going to have them its best that you do the leg work so you will know how to troubleshoot it if and WHEN it goes wrong,,,,and it will !!!! and the sump is something you will want to know as well for your own good , when it goes caput !!! the pipes can be put together from Lowes in about 1 hours time , done start to finish for around 20 bucks per pipe , and 11 of that is for the true union valve ,, do not be intimidated by these stand pipes ,,,they are as easy and simple as it gets !

These pipes are very easy to build and get working... I don't have them but I helped a buddy install them on his tank. Once you get the holes drilled in the tank.. the rest is a breeze. Check Savko out for the union valve...
