my clownfish are acting like they are trying to mate as soon as the lights go out. The only problem is i dont think they are old enough yet, are they just practicing or what? I sound like a over protective parent lol,

I think it may just be doing some pre-spawning behavior, and/or setting up dominance with each other.
What type of clowns and how long have you had them?
I have 3 pairs of clowns (( 3 different tanks )), 2 of them spawn every 2-3 weeks. They have always spawned during the evening, when the lights are still on.

they are false percula clowns and ive had them for about 4 months
