Breeding clowns

Is it okay to get two clowns from the same brood and breed them? Do you have more luck breeding them if they are from separate parents? Thinking about getting some picasso or onxy clowns. Any suggestions?

After several generations of inbreeding, you might start to see some genetic defects, but from everything I've read/been told, those defects don't occur until quite a few trips through the family tree.
