Clown Pimp
I have a pair of Melanopus and they are in a 40B with a 6" dia pot. Lately, the male will spend all day outside of the pot, and most of the time behind it. He will venture to the side and clean it and once in a while swim around the opening. The female will stay inside of the pot unless food is introduced. However, at dusk when the LED's start the 40 minute ramp down, the female will move to where the male spends the day and the male will take over the pot. They will stay this way until the morning ramp of lights starts, and like clockwork, they switch back.
My other pairs spend all of the time in the pots and sleep together. Anyone notice this behavior before?
