Breeding setup advice

Im looking to put together a breeding system and had a few questions and im sure ill have many more along the way. First off i want to set up around 8 (10 gallon) tanks for breeding. Now can i plumb these tanks into my filtration system for my reef tanks or would i be better off plumbing them into their own system. I have a fish room with a 100 gal sump 40 gal refugium and all equipment. There are two tanks on the system a 175 bowfront mixed reef and a 72 bowfront mixed reef.

I would like to plumb the breeding tanks into the reef tanks and setup another seperate system for growout with its own sump. Im planning on trying to raise a few different species but im going to start with clownfish.

The feeding demands of growout will likely tax the water quality of your reef, so I'd go with a separate system for growout. Also be sure and set up the plumbing such that you can easily remove any tank at any time, as well as shut off the water flow so that any tank can be isolated. This way you can shut a tank off from flow while on rots, and gradually introduce flow from the system as they grow and can handle more flow without worry of flushing out the food ;)

thanks im going to set up a system with 5 20 gal growout tanks and 5 10 gal tanks for the small fry. Also am i ok with putting the mated pairs in a 10 gal tank or do i need to go bigger. I plan on running everythign on a 50 gal sump with live rock and a 20 gal refugium.

Ocellaris and percula's will be fine in a 10. Larger species like Maroons and Clark's will need 20's for the breeding pairs.
