Bright to deep blue fish...

Hi, I was wondering, what kinds of small peaceful to semi-aggressive fish are out there? I would say ones that stay in the 2-5" range...

I know Blue reef chromis, and cherub angelfish fit into the category, (altho the cherub is purplish-blue)

What else?

Thanks

Blue hamlet is not that big andnot agressive might be an option . Alleni damsel also a peacefull and bright blue option... Yellow and blue combination may lead you to pseudocromis flavivertex also peacefull ... blue neon goby is sure fish for you also...

yellow-tailed damsels can sometimes be peaceful. Mine are, except with eachother. They are also a deep blue color and very small

well i HAD a variable damsel or something like that, collected it in the florida keys it was bright yellow and blue, but i had to tear my tank down to catch the evil thing...

Blue assessors are one of the most peaceful reef fishes around. Very pricey($100 +) and hard to locate though.

The yellowtail blue damsel is tolerable in a single number, and not a bad citizen in a 100 g. The blue devil is another surprisingly mild fellow--nippy, but not prone to fight.

+1. Assessor macneili! Do it!

I've always wanted one of those assessors but it will be a while.

What about a chalk bass? They're not a solid color but are blue/purpelly.

There are blue watchman gobies too. I would avoid any dragonets due to your tank size listed in your signature , but if you had like a 50g+ you could probably do a mandarin.

There are also neon blue cleaner gobies (black and blue striped) but are a bit on the small side of your request.

The Assessor is perfect for your size tank but they're not exactly what I would call bright blue. I keep 2 Yellows and 1 Blue in my 65gal.
I am having good luck with a group of 5 Azure Damsel's in my 210, Bright blue with a yellow lower half and a max size less than 3". They have not messed with any of my other fish but do mix it up among themselves as mentioned in the earlier post. If you keep one singly It should'nt be a problem.
