brine shrimp hatchery

I got a brine shrimp hatchery and was wondering where a good place to put it would be. I have a sump, and am working on setting a refugium up. Should i put it right into the tank, or somewhere else. I guess the problem with putting it in the sump or the fuge would be the return pump killing and chopping the shrimp up.
cheers

depending on how many shrimp your going to hatch. I use a 20 oz coke bottle put in a tablespoon or so of IO salt and let em go about 24 hours with a regular 75-100 watt bulb over them and they hatch by the next day to feed the tank. That creates enuff bbs for alot of tank. All You have to add is a hose runing air bubble into the bottle at a decent rate-not to fast but just enuff to stir the water constantly. I cut a small hole in the bottle cap run a hose in it. Then tip the bottle upside down and cut the end off. Creates a funnel like contraption with the air coming up from the bottom. Very cheap and has been working for a few years now.
If you try to put the hatchery into your tank youll be introducing alot of stuff you dont want in your tank. Shells as kau_cinta said and any shrimp that dont make it alive will all be in your tank dead. Might not be much but doing this daily or even a few times a week could lead to an bad build up of nitrates.

pm me if you dont understand this rambling. im tired its getting late here.
