My extreme bias for SPS would probably give you 'rare' status for the next 3 swaps if you put in the orange monti

Extreme understatement! :p

Hello Rich, Gresham, Karl and Jim!

First of all, THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS (giving your time to figure this whole rare thing out) FOR US!

As some of you know, I got my brother's fish and he got my corals, but my wife and I have been taking care of my brother's tanks on and off and as payback, we get to cut a few pieces from some of his corals, so we can take to the swap.

I know the lineage of some of this corals:

1. True undata: Mr. Karl, me, my brother

2. Atlantis purple Efflo: Atlantis Aquarium, Chris, my brother

3. Atlantis Flames from Hell Leptastrea: Atlantis Aquarium, Chris, my brother

4. Reef Farmers LE Purple Green Eyes Cyphastrea Japonica: Reefready, BAR raffle, me, my brother

5. Zoos: My brother has picked them up from all over the place, sorry, I don't know the lineage.

That's all we can count on. Please let us know if any of these corals are OK to place on the rare table.

I forgot how to upload pictures, so please use the link below to get an idea of what these corals look like. Warning, my camera is a cheap one and my photographic skills are as bad as they get.

Thank you very much to all of you and I'll see you at 9am to work at the swap!

How about these softies?

Eye of Lucifers
Ok, that's pretty uncommon.

Pink Blasto with green mouth
Looks orange in the pic. Unless it's bubble gum pink, the answer is probably not.

Sorry for submitting these so late, but would either of these count?

Pink Millepora
This one is very bright in person

I believe this one goes by "greg carrol's surf n turf" (I swear I didn't make up the name) but it is a really nice blue/green and looks considerably better than this picture

Probably not, but I'd like to see the mille in person before saying for sure. You may want to bring 2 frags of that just in case.

Well, those are "rare" around me :)

Ok, I give you all my zoas, and you get me the one that has the biggest nicest smile :)

Sorry I'm so late, I just cut all my frags up (I know, slacking) but they're all open now.

How about these zoos? White balance is kinda off, but mouths are definately purple, green center, maroon skirt:

I call this Warm Fire and Electric Ice, but I'm pretty sure they're kinda common, but crossing my fingers!

And a metallic green chalice... am I just pushing it here? I'lll show you all these frags tomorrow ;)

Thanks everyone. Its the morning of the swap so if you haven't gotten an answer, we'll have to let you know at the swap. Here goes a busy day! :D

Rich, Gresham, Jim, and Karl, thanks for all your time, effort, and expertise in identifying rares for this swap. I know it always sucks when the who what does rare thing goes on every year. But I (and we) appreciate the extra time and effort you guys always provide.

Thanks Charles! Putting on this event is always a bunch of work that all seems worth it after the fact.

Thank you and everyone else who pitched in. The Picking Area Possie really helped to keep things moving!
