Bristle worm question

Put a raw shrimp in some pantyhoes (tights in the UK) and put it near where the worm lives. It should come out to feed after dark and get tangled up in the trap. Good luck.

in general good, but i think and wholly imho, at a certain size-dependent on the tank, it's time to get rid of the big ones.

hmm i sorta would like an arrow crab anyways....

I had a huge outbreak of them as well and got a arrow crab and that guy took care of it as far as I can see. For worms that size hard to tell. I've heard flame angles are good for getting those as well. Or IDE even take that rock out if possible and cook it to kill those guys out. Best of luck to you thou, nasty little things

NEVER BOIL LIVE ROCK!

Unless you mean just leave it in freshwater but I do not want someone unaware to actually take that litteraly. Very dangerous to do and sometimes almost fatal.

Well yes almost like a freshwater dip. Should have been more specific with that. That's just I've been accustom to as the term "boil" good catch

From what I can tell, the worm in the video is called a "fireworm" not a good type of bristle worm. Most bristle worms are harmless and great for a sandbed. However, they all look very similar. If they reach that size just go ahead and kill them!

Do you mean in the video I posted? Or the OP's

In the video I posted, they were actually eunicid worms
