Bristle worm trap

Anybody know of a way to catch these guys? I have a 10 gallon tank with 2 small Onyx clowns and 2 very small gobies (all no bigger than an inch) and I just noticed some decent sized bristle worms (about 4"-5" long but very thin) in the tank. I'm going on vacation this saturday and would like to try and catch these worms before I leave.

I posted a concern about this sort of thing and everyone said that they are good for the tank and only eat detritus. So based on that, I wouldn't worry about 'em.

You can try putting some shrimp in a nylon and weight it down so it goes to the bottom, leave it for a day or two and the bristles will get stuck in the nylon and you can just thow the whole thing away with the worms. Or like Hans said, you could leave them as well

Foster/Smith sells a trap which will work. It doesn't discriminate on size.

Personally, I value my bristleworms more than my snails or hermits. I had a huge turbo buy it the other day, totally of of reach. The worms [I have 4-5 ten inchers] had that shell clean by morning and I had no chemical spike.

I like bristleworms also but not when they get that big. I don't want to take a chance with such small fish.

My fishes are all 2" or less. They have to sit still a l-o-o-ong time to draw the interest of a worm. ;) But good luck to you. Donate them to your reef club. There will probably be takers!
