OK... I have a 12 gallon nano that has become overrun by bristle worms... After lights out, or when I feed Rods Food, my LR looks like Medusas head... so.... I have been hunting.... baiting them with a raw shrimp, and then snagging them with hemostats.... extracted about 12 so far.

There is a reason that the big one got so big about 10" and as thick as a pencil... he is VERY cautious....

My question for the boards is, If I get in a tug of war with one, and they tear, do they die, or do they regenerate?

they won't die. You basically end up with 2 pieces. They don't really regenerate, like shrimps/crabs. They'll just start growing from those 2 pieces. You need to remove the entire piece. good luck!

LOL... well no problem... I didnt let go of the half in my tweezers. So now that worm is just shorter and perhaps a tad wiser... I may have lost that battle, but I will win this war.

haha. btw, if you know which rock it's in and there are no corals attached to it, you can always remove the rock and just let it air dry.

being a 12 gallon nano, there are corals on every rock. I will get him... its become kind of a nightly sport... I'm talking with VS to see if they want to televise it.
