Bristleworm/cucumber

For the last couple of days a bristle worm has been riding underneath my cucumber and it seems to be bumming it out. Do I need to intervene?

IMO, they probably found same spot wher "food" lies.

Can you take a picture of the worm? Some worms are commensals on cukes and spend their whole lives on them while the presence of other types is just accidental.
