Bristleworms Zoanthids

Do bristleworms ever eat Zoanthids?

none that i have ever seen! i have a zoanthid dominated 150

This is what I have heard. I have a orange bristleworm with white things extending from it that loves to hang out on one of my Zoa rocks, slithering around polyp heads. Here is a picture of it I found that looks very similar:

that looks alot like a fireworm rather then a bristle worm

Yes, I think you are right, Capn. I have attempted to remove it with tweezers, but it is lightning fast. Any ideas on how to remove it?

bristle worms will go after dead/dying tissue, so if you ever do see them munching on your zoas it's more than likely sure that the zoas are having troubles already. that's how the worms get such a bad rap. they detect die off way before we can and then get blamed for killing the coral

it is not necessary that you remove it---as with bristle worms it is healthy for the tank and isn't a threat to your corals.
However you really don't want to get stung by it--verrry painful.
