brittle star in hawkings

Hey guys. Just bought an awesome hawkings frag at reefapolooza but i saw little legs inside of ot. Its where its encrusted and it kinda grew over where he lives, no rtn or anything. I dipped the coral for 2 min but wont risk any more for obv reasons. Do u think this will be harmful or will he climb into the rock? Thanks

brittle stars shouldnt harm anything, they are nice creatures to have in your rock
