Brittle star MIA

Our brittle star disappeared from our sump/ refugium. He was there yesterday but today he is no where to be found. No remains that we can see. He lived with our arrow crab both banished to the sump for trying to catch fish. Could it be hiding in the chaeto or under the sand? It is about 6 inches from tip to tip. Normally active during early evenings.

I've looked everywhere. I figure he is in the chaeto at this point or climbed into our return tubes. We will keep a watch for his return. When he does return, he will be going to the lps

I have 2 in my reef tank and hardly see them. Occasionally you would see one of the hand/leg from behind the rocks

The arrow crab ate him!!! I just saw it finish off the star's body.
