brittle starfish

i was thinking of buying a brittle starfish. i heard they are reef safe and will not eat any fish no matter the size unless it is dead. On a different site, it said that the brittle stars will eat fish that they can get there arms around. i wanted to confirm this and for the reefsafe brittle starfish, are there any special kinds that will not eat any fish or shrimps in the tank?

i have a green brittle which im told will eat everything......hant touched anything yet. as long as u keep them well fed u will be fine
