Broadcast Feeding vs. Target Feeding

I'm looking into setting up an azoox/seahorse tank. I plan on putting the entire system on an auto feeder for frozen foods, and perhaps a dry auto feeder in the sump for other foods.

I'm wondering if people have had success not target feeding the following species/genera;

Ptilocaulis sp.
Axinella sp.
Tubastrea sp.
Cirrhipathes spiralis
Stereonepthya sp.
Dendronephthya sp.
Guaiagrorgia sp.
Menella sp.
Aclaycigorgia sp.
Nephthesis fascicularis

Auto feeders are the way to go. They will allow your animals much longer periods to eat, opposed to all at once, and are less labor intensive once you get them dialed in.

I have often tinkered with frozen auto feeding techniques, but ultimately always go back to hand feeding. Can you post some pics of your design? Assume you are using a apex or some other automation system to assist.

In answer to your question I have never had much luck with tubestra outside a dedicated system. But am thinking I might put some in my mantis tank and try again..

This was a design I had in mind, how do you keep the foods in suspension (stirred), also would there be any statistics of notable success with this setup? Finally what is the beaker sitting on? So e type of scale?

The beaker is on a magnetic stirrer.
