i noticed this morning that one of my 6025 nanostreams was making a racket. i turned it off, and then turned back on and it didnt even start up. upon taking the pump apart, the shaft fell out.
....another broken shaft. this is my 3rd set of replacements (now going on 4th set).
i should have seen this coming as i could see rust in the motor well and on the shaft....

....in the past i didnt have a problem with sending them off for replacements, as the turn around was a week.....maybe a tiny bit longer. b/c i could just throw a couple of MJ's on the side of the tank.
however, now i have a problem, b/c i have a new tank with a large eurobrace, so i cant exactly clip on any temporary pumps on the side of the tank.
so if i have to box these up and wait for replacements.......i guess i'm going to have to go out and buy new pumps or a set of expensive magnets to use as a temporary solution.....
any suggestions?
