My 6045 was effectedin the same way. I did a water change and I looked in surprise to see my 6045 was no loner attached to the magnet. I expected it and it appears the mounting tabs are gone? I do not know if I said it correctly but I am sure you know what I mean. Thanks in Advance! It certainly has been wonderful besides this.

I'm sure Roger will take care of you. Or...

I was going to have mine replaced, but I realized that there is no reason to ever need the magnet and holder to separate. Therefore, I found that it was quicker and easier to just glue the magnet onto the pump mount. I used a couple dots of superglue, but I have heard that hotmelt works good too. It took two minutes and I'll never have to worry about them again.

One of my 6045's mounting bracket broke during regular maintenance.
Not the clips that mount to the magnet....it's the arms that holds the pump itself "C"
:(

I tried glue, but no worky.
