Brooklynella treatment

I was reading the info from Terry Bartelme in Sea SCOPE as well as others on the treatment of using formalin in a 45 minute bath, Terry states most formalin products' aqueous solutions are at is at a 37 % or 40 % concentration and the target level needed is 250 part per million or about 20 drops level . I bought a product called Wardleys "Ick Out " that indicates 5.55% Formaldehyde does that mean I need to multiply the drops by 7 or 140 drops to get to the same concentration? PS : I am sorry in advance if I misstated in any way the article in advance.

I don't know zip about "ich out" .. but unless that product has nothing other than std formalin I would be concerned about trying to apply the std "formalin dosage" by using your extrapolation methodology. Many of the "magic" ich solutions have a combo of chemicals which may have adverse consequences if you raise them significantly.
