brooklynella

My own opinion [unsubstantiated, but with some logic] is that corals eat most anything that will fit through their little mouths, and that includes disease organisms. We eat bacterial cultures [cheese, wine] and I wouldn't be surprised if corals don't derive nutrition from them and other fish pests.

Some do qt corals. Seems to me a dip that would get coral pests would also tend to get bacteria and parasites.

Considering the only treatment for brooklynella is a formalin dip, I'm not convinced there's much you can do (do NOT dip you corals in formalin :D). Hopefully it dies without a fish host.
