brown algae on sand bed and hydra 52

i have been experiencing brown algae on the sand bed , the funny thing is that those area not shone by the LED - Hydra 52 , the algae are not growing there.

what should i do ? i have tried multiple template but nothing seems to be work

Appears to be diatoms which can grow under any lighting. Their primary need for growth is silicates. It also appear your substrate is gravel/crushed coral which would provide a quality substrate to collect detritus and give enough undisturbed surface area for algae to grow. I would consider slowly replacing that with a good aragonite sand. Otherwise you'll need to vacuum the substrate often like you would in a freshwater tank.

As I am using zeovit it is recommended to use the big particle of sand . Any case I vacuumed and added sand star in . Looks much better and I placed the wave maker in their new position

IMO diatoms are not bad. They are a great source of food for pods which in turn will provide nutritious food for your fish and corals. But if you don't care to have pods and want to get rid of the diatoms you could reduce the level of PO4 and nitrates by feeding less/ running GFO/ installing an ATS or growing chaeto in the fuge.

I had a horrible issue with algae coming into the new year. Think I resolved it by shortening my photo period to 8 hours & changing my powerheads.

Having more water movement in the tank helped in my case.

It is not a light problem, it is a husbandry problem.

stop dosing zeostart for a couple of days. you also may be over dosing that product

I also run Hydra52s and also run zeovit. I'm not sure how long you have been running zeovit for but I've found that you do need to find that fine balance for your tank. I had diatoms at one stage too and increased my zeostart3.and zeobak dosage, not by much but it did solve my problem by reducing nitrates and phosphates even further. If you OD on zeostart3 then your water will start to go cloudy, at that point you've gone too far and need to dial it back a bit. But if you increase your dosages slowly you should see a reduction in diatoms pretty soon.

my tank is 2x2x2ft and total tank volume is 262l . currently i am dosing 0.25ml twice a day for zeostart 3. and the other issue i am not able to keep the purple in valida and the yellow stag it is turning green, i have stopped dosing the potassium iodine. for the algae on the sand bed , what should i do ?

Need more information mate. What are your nitrate and phosphate levels? How many fish do you have and how much do you feed? What kind of lighting program are you using?

I run my Hydra 52s through my Apex so can't really see exactly what you're running from that graph. What are your percentages? and fixture height from the water surface.
I would feed more personally, even though we strive for ultra low nutrients using Zeovit they do benefit from some nutrients in the water column.
Thats the reason you do see amazing colours using Zeovit, but they tend to be quite pastille colours, because we do have ultra low nutrients but dose products such as iron to increase colouration.
I've just had a fallow tank for 10 weeks and definitely noticed a paleness to my acropora, now I've added fish back into the tank I have found colour to be improving with increased feeding.
I'd increase your feeding amount to see if they colour up and give it a few weeks, if no change then there are Zeo products you can dose to improve certain colours.

These seem a little bit random. Did you get these settings from somewhere or adjust it by eye?

Ok well I run my Hydras through my Apex which has preset values for 10k, 12k, 14k, 18k, and 20k. In my opinion you should try to get as close to these temperatures as possible as these are colour spectrums found in nature. If you don't have these lights set up right then you will not see healthy growth or colouration, which is where a lot of people go wrong.
