Brown algae problem for 1.5 years now, help

I have been reefkeeping for 12 years and had all kinds of outbreaks that I was able to take care of. Now, I have similar problem. this light brown, tan slimy algae is everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have been working on it x 2 years. I have tried every single suggestion. My last resort 2 days ago, Took out all live rock one by one and scrubbed it with a wire brush, same with all the walls (scrapped with blade) and remove half top of the sand!!
No casualties yet. Plan is to continue to brush the rock daily. I doubled the clean up crew as well since when it was out of control they will not touch it.
Very very frustrating.
My next step will be to quarantine the live stock some how (not the live rock) and get the tank dry, scrubbed, chlorine and at all, new sand and new LR.
May be l;ast resort will be to give up.

Is this algae an alien invasion? :eek1:

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the long silence from my side. I was on holidays for one month in California and got married in Las Vegas. Today we got home in the Netherlands and my outbreak of algea was even worse. I ran direct to the store and bought 3% pero oxide, tomorrow i'm going to start my experiment. I will take pictures for the upcoming weeks daily to monitor the changes.

P.S. USA was unbelievable nice (San Francisco, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, yosemite park, grand canyon, brice canyon and the big trees)
