Best thing to do is let it finish cycling. having a new tank is exciting, and you learn a lot of skills in this hobby, but the best one to learn first is patience.
 
If your just setting up your tank the brown algae happens. If there are no corals in your tank you don't need to have your lights on while the tank is cycling, as that can encourage algae growth.
But to answer your question, you can use a turkey baster to blow the algae off the sand. If you have filter floss incorporated in your system if will help to capture it. Just be sure to clean it often.
