finally caught them doing it on video.

cant find the glass cleaner.
also they only do that under the moonlight.
I starting to keep check on their schedule, hopefully I can get some better video next time. I don't know how long the whole thing last, my moonlight is on for 1 hour. they were doing it the whole time. Trio of flame angel, yes, both female were participated. the anthias were stay out that night to get their happy meals.

that's cool. Have you ever tried to raise them?

no, as far as I know, I need to move them into a special setup in order to collect the eggs, the eggs float to the surface, hatch after 24-48 hrs. plus the anthias eats most of the eggs anyway.

wow, did not know that. Hence your 'free meal' comment. I understand now.
I've read into posts that hint that it's a lot of work. It'd probably be neat though!

2 mated chromis, 2 mated clownfish,2mated damels!
Everything that can lay eggs is laying eggs. I feel bad that I haven't tried to raise any, however live food for everybody else.. Yep free lunch!
