Brown Macroalgae ID needed

This came from a fellow reefer's tank and takes a few weeks to grow. I pluck, it regrows. Not terribly invasive but I'd like to figure out what it is. My rabbitfish eats hair algae / bryopsis but won't touch this.

It will get air bubbles in the folds (is it a bubble algae) - it's extremely crisp (if you break it off out of water it feels like shredding romaine lettuce).

Never seen it! Being brown makes me think it could be related to Lobophora or Padina. It also bears some resemblance to Ulva, which has a lot of forms.

It looks cool and very exotic! When I can't ID a plant, I make up a name for it. What would you name it?
