Hey Guys I have read numerous threads in regards to sps browning and what causes it. In every thread I get a lot of conflicting answers as to the cause with no real I did this, this, and this and saw a turn around in X weeks. I am looking to see if anyone has first hand examples where they took specific actions, isolated the problem, and saw results. I would like to refrain from quoting articles, causes, etc and am interested in actions only! Successful or Not.

In my tank, browning means I need to replace my GFO. Within a few days color starts to come back. That said, my tank has found the cruise control zone, so any adjustment I make, is just that.....an adjustment. It sounds like you are still struggling for your tank to find its groove. In general, brown means too many nutrients or not enough light. Not familiar with the panorama pros. I've had success with both DIY LED, and currently running a halide led combo, so I am not an led hater by any means.

How well does your cheato grow? I would look into your phos first. Your range is just way too broad. Get a Hanna checker or better resolution kit and go from there.
