will a black saddle host in a bta? right now he is hosting in my flower pot and has become very rough with it.(only when it starts to close up after my MHshut off). is there any thing else i might want to consider ?
;)

It is possible - I have several bubbles and a carpet in my tank and various clowns. I lost my saddleback a little while ago but he was trying to get in the bubble but another clown bullied him out So they can go into a bubble. However, sometimes I have had clowns and anemones and they just would not pair up.

Black saddles are rough with almost anything (spouses, tiles and clay pots included). I am pretty sure she will destroy your BTA/carpet/crispa, etc.

Give her a 50 cents worth tile :p

I can't speak for black saddles, but my brown male spends half of his time in a BTA. The other half of the time he is in my haddoni. The reason for half of the time, the female still hasn't completely warmed up to him. She tolerates him for a bit, and then kicks him out of the haddoni.

ok i was reading last night about this and found that they might be happier in a carpet or a L T or a sabae? any thing on these i really dont think i want a carpet . i was looking more towards the LT or the sabae. any advise on these type of anemones?

The carpets tend to be large and I have lost a curious tang to a carpet. The saddles do love carpets though. Seabeas can be tricky and are not as hardy as the carpets, LTAs or bubbles. LTAs would be the hardiest and best choice but it would not guarenttee that the clown would take to it. I have several anemones in my tank either bubbles or carpet and two of my clowns still hang out over a frogspawn and 1 had thinks that a large brain coral is his anemone. I have seen clowns show no interest in the any of the anemones for months and then move in. No way to predict.
