BTA and t-5s/H20 GPH

I am thinking about a BTA. However, I tend to get varying opinions on lighting and anemones. I have a 234 watt T-5 setup. Is it enough. Also, my total H20 flow is 700 gph in a 65 gal tank. Is it enough???

Thanks,

Adam

Your lights will be fine.

The flow might actually be a bit on the low side. While they ( BTAs ) don't require a large amount of flow, it is nice to have a decent amount to have remove wastes from the anemone when it releases them.

And to add -- back when I have my BTA in my 75 (( sold it, was getting too big )) I had 2 MJ superflows (( 1600 gph each )) One Koralia 4, and 2 SEIO 820s. Plus a 600 GPH return pump.

Yeah, I will add that you need more flow, but your lighting is sufficient... I have kept several different types of anemone's under T-5, just make sure to get a healthy specimen, as it won't recover very quickly under T-5 lighting if it bleached.
