My BTA has finally found a spot on the bottom of the tank between a couple of rocks. I have 2 Koralias (400gph). It doesn't seem to like being anywhere where there is flow on it. I thought they liked waterflow on them?
they like moderate current enough to bring them food and take away waste. they should be waving gently in the current not being blown all over. what kind of lighting do you have and how many watts?
T5 HO (2 x 10,000 and 2 x Actinic). He doesn't wave where he is now. He doesn't look unhealthy. He's just a little one. I'm afraid if I put more flow on him, he'll move again.
i'd say he's probably fine where it is. they move to a spot that they like so i wouldn't put any more flow on him, he must like where he is or he wouldnt have stopped there.
