my BTA was looking deflated for 2 or 3 days. yesterday he halway came out of it and today he looks deflated again. i have seen him this way before but only for a day or two after eating then it was fine. all the corals, sponge, shrimp, crabs etc are fine and my water tests are all normal/in good range. is it dieing?

When's the last time you fed? Anemones deflate to expel waste. How's your temp? How's the mouth look and is the foot sticky/attached to anything?

Lighting? Water movement?

i fed last saturday the 12, half a shrimp. i do that every saturday but this saturday he wouldnt hold on. yesterday noticed the temp at 82. have since put a fan on it and dropped it back to my norm of 77. foot is attached and cant see the mouth.

now the mouth is half open, but some tevtacles are inflating. i dont want this to die in my tank overnight. is he hopeless? please reply

I would wait. Sometimes it looks like they wont make it, and they pull through. They dont like anything over 80 IMO, so that might have had something to do with it.
