bta help for a noob

hi

i have a 33gl long (36x12x16 - i think it's 16), and this past friday i got my first bta. it's small, around 4" across from what i've seen. the problem i have is my lighting melted itself friday afternoon/evening.

my tank had 150w hqi @ 14000k and the anemone seemed to like it. yesterday it had virtually no light because my de socket melted and today the only thing i could find locally was 2 x 36" coralife t5 aqualight fixtures (2x 21w NO).

anyone think this isn't enough based on experience? my lps/softies seem to be ok under the new light, but it's only been 6hours or so.

BTAs seem to prefer Flourescent lighting over MH. But the anemone will climb closer to the light if he wants more.

great. i noticed it was starting to inflate a little yesterday so i think it'll be ok. my clowns dove into and haven't left it yet so yay for that :)

i have one other question. the bta was put inside a small peice of abs/pvc pipe; it looks like a coupling. i assume to keep it from attaching to rock in the store.

what would be the best way to coax it out of the coupling? i was thinking of putting it on the side and keeping the light off for a few hours, maybe a day.
