BTA help

Well, my BTA was in the same spot for a couple of months since I brought him home from Tom's house, and he's been fine and looking great, bubbling up nicely and real bright red, but now he has apparently decided to move. I am not sure if he ended up where he is on purpose, or if he just fell when he let go, but he went down into a crevice in the rocks from which there is no real easy way out for him without alot of climbing, so I'm wondering if I should try to dig in there and get him out, or just let him be and do his own thing?

I'd let him do his own thing, they can really reach and move almost anywhere. Make sure you feed him when he gets to where you want him. That's where he'll stop at. (hopefully)

A grabbed the other BTA when Tom was selling them. Mine hides in a crevice also, but comes out (very slowly) when I entice it with a silverside or shrimp. It hasn't changed locations since I put him in so hopefully he stays happy and away from the powerheads!

Well, mine is in a place where you have to practically press your face against the glass and look down into the hole to see him even with his bubble tips out.

Sometimes mine slips further down into the rock where I can only see a few tips and no mouth. My plan is to fat'n him up, I figure if I keep feeding him silversides every couple days he'll get to big to hide anymore. ;)

Mine is pretty good sized...I've been feeding him a cocktail shrimp about once a week or so. Here is a pic of him. He moved down the rock he is on in this pic about 2 weeks ago and was basically spanned out across the crevice he's now down in. It looks as though he zapped my green guy that's in this pic (also from Tom and was only about the size of one of those branches when I brought him home). Will my softie recuperate?
