BTA hiding from light?

I've had a small BTA in my tank for the past 3 months, beggining first in a medium to high flow/medium light spot. It never really looked as happy as it did in that spot as it was in the LFS, so I knew it wasn't liking the flow, but was worried about disturbing it again. While it had stayed healthy, and was hosting my clownfish at the time, the flow really seemed to **** it off sometimes, so I decided to make a change.

1 week ago, I moved the BTA to one of the rocks on the right side of my tank, where the flow is much lower. Now, I tried placing the sucker higher on the rock to receive more light, but it decided to move overnight to about 5 inches from the bottom. It's still in the same spot, and it's been looking happier than ever. My clownfish re-found it and is now hosting in it again, and the clownfish I recently added that paired up with my old clownfish is also starting to host in it too.

Should I be worried about the nem not receiving enough light? Lighting is a 36 3w DIY LED system hanging from the ceiling about 6 inches high from my 23" high 72 gal bowfront. It looks happy and I have a very solid colony of pods and phytoplankton in my tank that should satisfy its feeding requirements.

Bumping for last hopes of some opinion. As of last night, the anemone has been doing fine, still kind of hiding in the shaded spot. It doesn't look unhealthy or anything of the sort, and my clown is still hosting in it.

Maybe I really shouldn't worry, but if my BTA doesn't receive enough light, could it possibly bleach out?

If its under a rock cliff like area it will just elongate its body into the light. My little RBTA does this in the spot its at.

I'm new to BTA's also, but my RBTA has been in my tank for 4 weeks and has moved 4 times - once to a low light spot. I think he has settled in to the current spot which has strong light and medium/high flow close to an covered MP40.
I've read they will do funny things from time to time and its best NOT to move them as they will move to where they want/need to be. I feed small chunks of raw table shrimp and silver sliders every 5 days or so and he always accepts it and seems to love it.
I also have a 36 3w DIY LED system (12 cool white/24 royal blue) that is about 20" above from where he has been parked for the last 9 days.
Again, moving him will just stress him out and is a waste of time. Make sure your water parameters are good and stay up on water changes.
These BTA's are the absolute coolest of aquarium animals!!

Yeah, I really considered moving him again, but he's been looking much better, and my clown loves the lazy low flow that it's in now. I have 2 clownfish hosting on it, even though the anemone itself is too small to host both of them at the same time.

Are there any signs that I can look for if it really does need more light and I should move it?

It's going to move to whatever spot it wants, leave it be. The more you move it, the more it will wander and the chance of it ending up in a powerhead increase.
