I have a new BTA - looks/acts healthy enough and has bonded with my clown - however no matter what I do it keeps hiding in caves/under rocks - makes it very difficult to feed silversides to - now it has hidden in a cave so deep i cant see it although the clown keeps zipping in and out - comments?

Its trying to get use to its new home, don't mess with it. When it is hungry, it will come out. go to www.karensroseanemones.com her website has a lot of information, that will ease your mind about your new bta.

Mine (after multiple splits) have all buried their feet deep inside my rock structures. At night, they shrink back down and I can barely see them. However now that they're settled, they extend their mouth and tentacles all the way up over the rocks to soak in the "sun" and generally sting all my corals (yeah, the're a PITA).
