I received what was labeled a BTA about 9 days ago - it was given away after it was cut in half as a demonstration at an event. Both halves looked good. I housed him in a 5 gallon for about 5 days, and he did well.
Then I moved him to my main tank, a 40b with t-5 lights. He didn't immediately attach, so I built a little rubble wall around him. He seemed to attach, so after 2 days I moved the rubble. He crawled across my rockwork, but was unattached and upside down by the end of the day.
So, I have found a rock tent to put him in and have blocked him in from the front, though he could crawl towards the back if he wanted. He's not being pinched by the rocks, just blocked in. Here's how he looks: (And of course my clown couldn't stay out of the pic):
So, does he look ok? He's not all extendy... any ideas on what to do to help him settle in?
