BTA in a 16 gallon nano?

Hello everyone,
While I have been keeping saltwater tanks for a number of years, I have never gotten around to putting a BTA in one of my tanks. I feel comfortable with how I have kept my water parameters as I do a weekly water change, although I am concerned about making the jump into putting a BTA in a nano as I have always heard you should have at least 30 gallons for a BTA. (my current tank is an IM 16)

Who can weigh in based on their experience with a BTA in a nano?

I had a green BTA in that same tank for several months and it did well. I did add additional lighting to the stock setup though.
I know that's not a long term success story, but it didn't survive the trip when I had to pack up my tank to move back to the USA.

It may work for the short term but a healthy full size bubble tip can reach a foot across. why not go with a maxi-mini anemone. They don't host anything but are pretty little nems.

Thanks for your insight

Sounds like there are some other great options for my current tank that would be less of a hassle. Thanks for your input
