BTA in cave... no light... can't feed...

OK, I got a new BTA last weekend and from the day I put him in my tank, he's gone straight to a cave and hasn't come out since. I can see him in there and he's bubbly and inflated... but I'm still a little worried because I can't reach him to feed him, and he's not getting any light either...

I googled what can cause this and really haven't found any answers... I hear it's usually cuz of stress from the acclimation and also they do it before a split... But I don't see any evidence of him starting to split...

I know I'm probably over worrying and he'll eventually come out... right? It's been about 5 days since I got it and he's been in there... Tried feeding the other day but since it's a bad spot, I'm not sure if he got it...

Anywho, I guess all I'm looking for is a reassurance that this is pretty normal and I'm worrying for no reason... Thanks!

You can coax it out by aiming a powerhead directly at it's foot.

Both of mine have done this. I want another but wont do it because I have eltimately lost both of them.

I'm not reassuring at all . . .
