BTA in sand bed

So my BTA was in isolation tank for a week. I put him back in the DT.

looks like he settled on the sand bed under the rock.

Do you think he will ever move up higher to the rocks?

I thought they need a lot of light?

It is going to be difficult to feed him. I posted previously in other thread
when he was injured. So it's ok just to leave him alone without feeding?

I have Marine Snow which I can do broadcast feeding.

Also, my firefish was finished with QT, I released him the other day.
Today he is dead. Could the BTA's toxin have killed him?
The BTA settled where the firefish was hiding or he got stuck in the rocks.
I will never know.

All tank parameters are in range

Lastly, my clown pair are done with QT in few days, will the BTA
move even with the clownfish in the tank?

I covered the wave makers and intake just in case...

Leave him alone for a while. He'll move to where he wants to be. Don't force it. Give him a week or two before trying to feed.

Actually looks pretty good from the pic. Just give it some time. Since it's bleached it will stay out of the light for awhile and should eventually make its own way out.

Firefish sounds like coincidence, something else.

Consider clowns and anemone two separate entities until the clowns decide to go to it, if they do.

Pretty much what he said^^^ and just squirt mysis a couple times a week towards it to help regain health/color.

he does look much better. I have tried mysis a few times and see a small
pellet of mysis next to it when it was in isolation tank. does that mean it did not
like it at all?

I'm squirting marine snow into it every few days and also into the wave maker

I have some that like to anchor at the base of the rock too.

Don't worry its a nem, it will move to what it thinks is the best spot. If the lighting is not enough it will move up.

It would usually be brown stringy stuff that it purges from its mouth. Color can vary depending on what is being fed. It can sometimes be confused with zooxanthellae purging, which i believe, is a dark brown color. If you fed it and later it was expelling brown stringy stuff, it was likely the food.
