BTA looking very light

I got this about a month ago. It was very brown, and somewhat translucent. Now it is peach coloured with greenish base, but even more translucent.

Lighting is under 250W 20000K DE MH about 1' deep. It always accepts food, and I feed it every other day with very small portion.

I supposed it is bleached? I always thought that this is supposed to be one of those opaque red with green base, does it look like that way?

Its going to be a very pretty rose bta when it regains color. Congrats on the purchase! Just take good care of it, and it'll color up more.

WOW Very nice. the bulbs are amazing i hope my BTA gets like that

I think, when they are small they tend to have the bulbous tentacle. It seems that the larger they get the more likely that they lose the bulb.
