BTA looks terrible >:(

Ah, gotcha. Well, best of luck in the move and tell your Dad there's a whole bunch of people that are rooting for that little nemmie.

So it's been a while since an update, mainly because there was nothing to report. The anemone attached itself to a rock in the back corner of the tank and refused to come out. A couple times I was able to give it good, but mostly everything I attempted to give it was just blown away by the current.

Last week I noticed it had started moving around again and was looking particularly bad. I got married on Sunday and was out of town from Friday to today. When I came home today I found the nem detached and upside down beneath all of the rocks.

After some difficulty I was able to retrieve it but unfortunately it was clear it was gone. Many small pieces broke off when I pulled it out, and it had begun to smell. Thankfully the smell wasn't overwhelmingly horrible, so I don't think it has been decaying for too long.

Despite the expected, though still unfortunate outcome, I just wanted to say thank you to all of the people who helped me out and gave me advice during these past several months!

Wow, im sorry to hear about your loss! I still am perplexed as to what coulda happened. It seemed like you were doing everything right. I have brought back several nems from near death using most of the same methods you did. I actually was browsing through my participated in threads a few days ago and was wondering what ever happened to your nem. Well again im sorry and wish you better luck on the next one!!

Sucks. Sometimes these things are out of your control. If your tank is doing good overall, and your water params are good and steady, I'd say try again.
