BTA moved after a year

been in same location for over a year( front right) has split there multiple times.
recently added additional flow that didn't really seem to bother it much.
BUT it moved back behind the rock. I shut the pump off for a day to see if it would move back and nope.

I wanted to move the rock anyway and moved it across tank more in middle left. it has now moved up top in the back. the clowns have since moved with it..
horrible location as cant see neither now. ahahha

might give it a bit and then try and move it.. what do you think.

If it's a healthy nem that's in good shape and of good color I'd leave it alone. Only time I would intervene is if it's not getting light for a long period of time. Worst thing about anemones is they don't go where you want them most of the time. You can trick them into a spot sometimes but doesn't always work.

If anything you could aim flow behind the rock to bring him out. My rock work is centered in the tank with the same space in front and in back of the rocks. My haddoni is behind my rocks it sucks but he's happy lol.

ya.. for years these guys would stay where I would want them pretty much and rarely ever traveled . only after they split would one take off and go on its own.
good idea about pointing flow back there. ill give it another week on its own then try to coerce it out.

ended up splitting after it moved. now I have two in terrible locations. will be redoing part of the tank so will try again to relocate.

I read all the time even seeming "happy" BTA's will just move even after a year of staying put, but if yours has split that many times in one year there's probably something going on that it's not liking.
