I have a 20 gallon tank with 9 bat's. They are healthy with the exception of o e that likes to hang in caves and shrink. But with a tiny refugium working the macroalgae it works. The hardest part is keeping salinity stable due to the metal halide lighting. But it can be done. You just have keep an eye on parameters an don't shortcut anything.
