BTA pale after splitting?

Hi everybody, so my BTA split while I was at work today. It's not the first time it has split. Onto the question, is it typical for the anemone to lose some color after splitting??? I'll attach a pic (hopefully) of an older clone in the foreground and the splits in the background. The one in the back was just as vibrant as the one in the front last night. Is this typical? Hopefully the picture is viewable! Thanks for any responses! [emoji3]

One of mine the other day started to split and wasn't doing a very good job of it. Then I get up the next morning when the lights came on it had not split and started pulling itself back together. Had another one do this before. Well the one that just tried splitting is pale just like yours is. The color will come back.

Pulled itself back together? Wow. That has never happened to me. Never say never. I was actually glad it split, the thing was getting way too big, I never saw the two clowns I have in with them, maybe a stripe here and there, they sure took up residence and became hermits in the anemone.

It's a BTA. I started a thread ages ago and was told it was a "sunburst" but after talking to the guy that sold it to me a few years ago (also a shop owner who has one in his tank as well) he got it from a Sri Lanka shipment. Who knows? Lol I just go with "really cool orange/yellow tips with green base anemone"

Well, it seems that the mother and her split are bouncing back quite well! Thanks for the reassurance everybody ImageUploadedByTapatalk1446596329.575503.jpg
All three ( yay I have three now) seem to be doing a dance around the tank, to the point where I had to spin the rock around..... Getting way too close to the overflow for my liking. You can see one barely in the left of the picture hopefully they settle down soon
