BTA Placement

First off, I apologize if this question has already been addressed in a different thread (too lazy to read through the thousands of posts on here). I'm thinking about getting a BTA for my reef tank and wanted to know if they prefer to be attached to rockwork or the substrate? What's worked best for all of you? Thanks for the feedback.

They usually like a niche in the rockwork, but they will move on their own to where they're comfortable.

They shouldn't move for weeks. Maybe for a few days until they get settled in. ut it in a comparable position to the tank it was in (depending on lighting and flow).

Thanks a lot for all the reccommendations. I'm still a little nervous about giving it a shot because I really don't wanna see my other corals get destroyed...But, of course, my curiosity will probably get the best of me and I'll go for it.

The sting of a BTA isn't as strong as other anemones. If it isn't on the coral for days, most coral can pull through and survive. Consider getting a captive propagated BTA if possible. They're used to being in an aquarium and don't stress like wild caught ones do.
