BTA Problem

Ok, I had my few days old BTA sucked in by the filter. I didn't think it was possible, seeing that the filter had some sort of wire mesh, but maybe it was not fine enough. Anyway, it survived the accident and settled down at a spot and the wound has healed (I think, its been over a week) but the BTA lost most of its tentacles although only just one part was injured. Is this a bad sign? The BTA is much smaller than when I first bought it although it looks fully inflated.

Try nursing your BTA back to health. Feed it small foods like cyclopeeze and HUFA enriched brine shrimp daily. Good luck.

It's most likely ingesting itself so that it can heal, try to see if it will eat
