I got a bubble tip anenome a week ago and it has been doing fine it is about the size of a softball, but today when I got home from work I looked around and could not find it, after about 10 mins I spotted him and he is in a hole in the rock that hes been attached to, he is all the way inside this hole and the hole is only about the size of a nickel. Why would he go in there and will he come out

They do that. Leave em be. He'll be out tomorrow. mine's all the way inside a hole that's about 1/8 of his full size right now.

I don't think anyone can tell you exactly why it went in the rock. Anemones pretty much do as they like. It will most likely eventually come out unless it feels threatened.

Anemones move for a variety or reasons but the biggest one is that they don't like it where they are and go in search of a place they like.

Are your water parameters all in good order?
