How often should a BTA be fed, and what is the best food for it?

I feed mine frozen fish food, either Rods or you can chop up raw shrimp, just buy a bag of frozen raw shrimp from the store. If you have good lighting, you don't need to feed often, probably about 3x a week. They usually also get some of whatever fish food you throw in the tank.

Honestly, feeding 3 times a week is a maximum, not a minimum for me. I feed mine about once a week, and some people feed as little as once a month, or not at all.
